RGB - Camp

Another RGB swatch this time in Camp. I am always a fan of campy, mossy greens. This formula was indeed difficult to work with but I learned my lesson with Punch and I thinned out the formula long before I swatched and it was still a little on the thick side. One good thing about the formula and the way it is is that you can do one good coat and you can go out the door! Overall I do like the color and the opaqueness but but otherwise the formula is lacking.

RGB - Punch

Hey! Hey!

I have another RGB swatch today! And boy am I sorely disappointed! I love the color, I think it's perfect for spring - although right now where I live the wind hasn't stopped for the past two days sounds like a hurricane out there (although it's not). However the formula was INSANELY difficult to work with. I tried one round of swatching and it was TERRIBLE (yes worse then this!) and had to take it off. I thinned out the polish a LOT and then did another round. Let's just say I've never before used my corrector pen SO MUCH to clean up because the only way I could get a smooth surface was by 'painting' and then 'drawing in the outline'. Sounds weird you say? Well that's because it's ridiculous!

I'd never go through all this trouble probably ever again. It's really just a shame because I do LOVE the color, it's very feminine, soft and gentle, and in some lights looks just a BIT more nude then pink. I'll either just put it away or maybe thin it out some more I really have no clue at the moment.

Nars - Mato Grosso

Hey! Hey!

Here is another Nars polish! This time in the GORGEOUS color Mato Grosso which is actually a Brazilian state name! I think that's pretty cool. I find that sometimes nail polishes have weird names just for the sake of it or for the sake of being unique. ANYWHO!

As  I've expressed before I love the Nars formula and have yet to come across one of their polishes that I don't like the formula. I love chocolate browns and I really love this color! When I look down at my nails almost makes me wanna bite them! (creepy? sorry!) But it's just such a rich, deep, beautiful brown. Cannot go wrong!

Nars - Night Flight

Hello! Hello!

Here is the end of the Nars Night Series. Kind of a long story why I've it took me so long to finish this up. Short version is I've been super busy and had some personal stuff going on . For the longer version of things check out http://lailadarling.blogspot.ca/2012/04/holy-baloney.html . But I will be doing regular posts from now on and have got some very cool brands to check out!

I really love this color I think it's beautiful and I don't have anything like it. I wouldn't say that it's THE best color ever but it's beautiful and I have nothing bad to say about it.  

Apparently a new color has been added to this collection called Night Clubbing which looks gorgeous on the site cause I am always a fan of browns so I cannot wait to get my hands on it!
